WHO CAN OPEN A SAVINGS ACCOUNT
INDIVIDUALS
An individual can open a Savings Account in their own name, subject to applicable account opening requirements.
JOINT ACCOUNT HOLDERS
More than one individual may open a joint Savings Account with applicable operating instructions.
MINOR ACCOUNTS
A Savings Account may be opened on behalf of a minor through a guardian, subject to applicable requirements.
ELIGIBLE INSTITUTIONS
Eligible clubs, associations, schools, religious or charitable institutions may open accounts as permitted by the Bank.
